Some fun facts

Ann and her husband live with their four children, along with Jewels the Siamese scaredy cat, Tessu the guide dog, and a hand-nurtured house-sheep called Lady Georgiana of Faust House in Howard County. Her four happily breastfed children taught her as much, if not more, than many of the textbooks she has ever read, and emphasize that every mother and baby pair is unique. Ann’s other interests outside healthcare are traveling with her family, organic and bio-dynamic gardening (especially herbal and medicinal plants), fencing, swimming, and rock climbing. She also officiates for USA Swimming as a stroke and turn official since 2012 and volunteers with the Maryland Youth Rugby. Ann is also a proud rugby union and Leeds Tykes fan and usually watches all England games with passion.

MEET THE TEAM

Moira Thomas BA(Hons)

When they have had their first twins in 2000, and immediately told by the hospital that she shouldn't even think about breastfeeding her babies as it was very difficult, Moira and her husband felt somehow, they let their baby sons down. Luckily Moira met Ann through her husband, and with Ann's help, they exclusively breastfed all her babies for months to come. (So don't ever give up because someone doesn't believe in you)

After working for over 15 years in diplomatic service with her husband and travelling around the world, in 2009 Moira joined Baby and Me Lactation Services to support the whole team as the Practice Manager. She has a degree in Business Studies and uses her knowledge to ensure the practice runs as efficiently and smoothly as possible. Moira married with 5 children; two sets of twin boys and a daughter in between. After taking early retirement, they decided to raise their children and few animals including a small flock of rather hardy Boreray Sheep in the Scottish Isles.

She is committed to providing the best customer service to Baby and Me Lactation Service’s families.
