 IMPORTANT BREASTFEEDING LAWS AND INFORMATION As many of you know, breastfeeding laws with in the USA are getting better. Especially if you are a working-outside-the-home mommy.
· The last law about mother’s right to have reasonable pump breaks was one of the first big steps toward helping mothers and babies to have longer, and hopefully, little easier breastfeeding relationship.
· After that, the Surgeon General’s announcement about the importance of breastfeeding gave us a little more support.
· The last piece of the good news came from the IRS. They finally reviewed their last statement and included the pump and major breastfeeding expenditures with in the tax reimbursement. Now, especially the mothers who have to be away from their babies regularly, and have to pump to be able to continue nursing their babies can claim at least some of their money back.
